Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, the Legal Administration Techniques Department at the Technical Institute / Nineveh organized, and as part of its scientific plan for the department for the academic year 2021-2022, a seminar entitled “The Impact of the Corona Pandemic on Public Freedoms”

It was delivered by Shaima Ali Salem, a teacher in the department, in the presence of the department’s employees.

The episode included the legal basis on which countries relied in deciding many restrictive precautionary and preventive measures, such as human rights and public freedoms, to prevent the spread of this virus.

The episode aimed to demonstrate the rights and freedoms that can be restricted in the light of the pandemic, with an indication of the most prominent forms of restrictions that have affected them.
