Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University and the supervision of the Dean of the Nineveh Technical Institute, the Department of Legal Management Techniques at the Institute organized its scientific plan for the department for the academic year 2021-2022 a scientific update entitled “Enforced Disappearance” and lectured by the assistant teacher Nour Qais Muhammad / rapporteur of the department and in the presence of the assistant professor, Dr. Majed Muhammad Salih, Dean of the Institute and the Associate Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs.

The newcomer dealt with the concept of the crime of enforced disappearance, the most important international legislation that dealt with this crime, and the draft national law in this regard.

The objective of the newcomer is to discuss the draft law on enforced disappearance submitted to Parliament and the possibility of bringing it into force as soon as possible due to its importance in suppressing the crimes that fall under this concept to achieve public security.
