Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Technical Institute of Mosul, Assistant Professor Shahla Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Qader, the Department of Animal Production Techniques organized a seminar entitled “The Effect of Corona Virus on White Blood Cells” delivered by Assistant Professor Afrah Younis.

The discussion panel made several recommendations, including:

1. Prevention of Covid disease is one of the diseases that lead to a deficiency of white blood cells.
2. As a result of exposure to white blood cells, a person develops multiple types of infections that start with mouth ulcers.
3. The severity of Covid disease depends on several factors, including age and low lymphocyte count.
