The Department of Electronic Technologies at the Technical Institute / Kirkuk organized an online scientific workshop entitled (Digital image processing and the difference between digital and photographic images).

The lecture is delivered by:

Assistant teacher Omar Khalaf Muhammad

The workshop dealt with:

Knowing the characteristics of both digital and photographic images and the differences between them and the applications of image processing in various aspects of life and identifying the programs that help in processing and their characteristics

The workshop aims to:

Develop knowledge of using image-editing programs to benefit from it in several fields, as well as identify and see what image processing offers in medicine, technology and satellites.

The workshop concluded:

Image processing does not mean the processes of decorating images and inserting some decorations, but in fact goes beyond that, as the focus here is on the appropriate digital coding of images and finding ways to process these digital data so that these images or the information carried by the images can be used by the machine, it can be a computer or A man or other machine. A large number of university and Iraqi university employees participated in the workshop.
