Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of Al-Dor Technical Institute, the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques at the Institute organized a panel discussion entitled “Specialized Connective Tissue (Bone)” in which:

The assistant teacher, Riam Amin Saleh, the lecturer in the above section, lectured in the seminar, and the seminar was attended by a number of university employees.

The episode addressed the following topics:

1. Bone functions and production of blood components
2. Types of bone cells and the difference in their composition
3. How to distinguish bone tissue into two types based on the density of the extracellular substance.
4. Clarifying the types of bone tissue under the microscope, depending on the direction of collagen fibers into three types.

The episode aimed to:

1. Clarify the meaning of fabric in general.
2. Seeing the types of bones ,various types, such as the femur and cranium.

And the episode showed:

Noting the difference between the types of bone cells and dividing them into destructive cells and young cells and mature bone cells.
