Al-Door Technical Institute hosts the Governor of Salah Al-Din…

On behalf of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, Assistant Professor Dr. Maha Al-Taif Jassem, Dean of the Technical Institute, received Mr. Ismail Khudair Al-Haloub, Governor of Salah El-Din, in the presence of the Dean’s assistants and a large number of directors of government departments in the judiciary. This visit is The first to go after he assumed the position of governor. The Dean of the Institute, after conveying to His Excellency the greetings of the President of the University, provided a detailed explanation of the departments of the Institute and what it offers to students, and the nature of projects being implemented to expand and develop its infrastructure, as well as the projects that the Deanship seeks to implement shortly.

The Governor pledged to provide full support to the Dean of the Institute to enhance the academic and scientific capabilities of students, work on developing specialized halls and laboratories, and discuss the expansion of the Institute’s departments and facilities.

I accompanied him on a tour of the institute’s corridors and its internal departments, listening to the proposals and the nature of the obstacles facing his work, and instructing him to complete them by the controls and powers granted. He also directed the Roads and Bridges Directorate to cover a number of the technical institute’s streets and entrances and to develop the security system in it, praising the exceptional efforts of its deanship and the teaching staff and their relentless efforts to improve the educational reality in it, stressing the need to continue developing this scientific edifice and its infrastructure.

Referring to the local government’s keenness to develop its educational institutions and its pride in the distinction it achieves among its peers, it is the supreme premise for creating qualified leaders to lead state institutions, and they bear the responsibility for the development and progress of the country.

The governor was accompanied during the visit by Sheikh Maqsoud Shehab, the mayor of Al-Dur district, Dr. Riyad Tayes, the deputy governor for services and construction affairs, and several directors of service departments and engineering and technical staff in the province.
