A teacher at the Northern Technical University presents the university president with a scientific book written by him…

Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Rafe Omar, Associate Director of the Department of Scientific Affairs at the Presidency of our Northern Technical University presented a scientific book co-authored with a teacher from the University of Mosul, titled “Artificial Intelligence, an Application to Create Crosswords” in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafea Mahmoud, where this book is a qualitative leap in Arabic crossword puzzles, as an artificial intelligence program has been created and employed to achieve this purpose. The method used was devised, then tried and applied to different cases. This work represents the first version of its kind in this field, and perhaps this author will be the beginning of the development of this type of artificial intelligence program. The goal of this author is scientific, beyond entertainment, as it invests in artificial intelligence to create crossword puzzles, with higher accuracy and with less effort; To show the possibility of investing artificial intelligence in many areas of life and culture, noting that the book consists of four chapters:

  • Chapter One: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
  • Chapter Two: Artificial Intelligence Crosswords
  • Chapter Three: Forming crossword puzzles with artificial intelligence
  • Chapter Four: Conclusion and Future Works

The book also presented four ways of creating crossword puzzles with artificial intelligence, and the book also contains a large set of crossword puzzles with their solutions.

In turn, the university president praised this scientific achievement and valued the author’s efforts, wishing him more scientific brilliance in the service of our dear university.
