As part of the activities of Sustainable Environment Week, the Deanship of the Technical Engineering College / Kirkuk, represented by the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Sami Ridha Arslan, with active participation from the Department of Environmental and Pollution Engineering Technologies headed by Dr. Qaisar Ajaj, and through the efforts of the department’s staff and students, presented a distinguished scientific platform titled:

Global Sustainable Matrix (GSM).

This program represents a qualitative scientific initiative aimed at supporting concepts of environmental sustainability and enhancing mechanisms of environmental assessment and analysis according to modern standards that contribute to achieving sustainable development goals. The program also provides an integrated scientific framework for studying environmental indicators and measuring the impact of various activities on the environment, serving academic and research directions in this vital field.

This scientific work was presented as a gesture of appreciation to the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, in recognition of her continuous support for scientific and environmental activities and her ongoing commitment to fostering initiatives that contribute to developing the academic landscape and promoting environmental awareness.

The program organizers emphasized that this step comes as part of a series of activities aimed at embedding a culture of sustainability within educational institutions and opening broader horizons for scientific collaboration, in alignment with contemporary environmental challenges.
