A technical master’s thesis was discussed at the Engineering Technical College / Mosul, specializing in engineering technology
Alzheimer’s Disease Diagnosis Using Deep Learning Intelligent Techniques The thesis presented by student Sarah Saad Abdul-Jabbar examined the possibility of diagnosing Alzheimer’s disease by relying on Yolov2 smart technology and employing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to train the neural network to obtain the highest reliable diagnosis rate.
The thesis aims to build a system based on deep learning techniques in diagnosing Alzheimer’s disease based on magnetic resonance images, to help doctors in medical diagnostics, and to provide a material base for this type of diagnosis.
The letter recommended that this system, which is based on deep learning techniques in its diagnosis, be the beginning of a new stage in its use in the medical fields of Alzheimer’s disease.
A part of the discussion was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Majed Khalil Najm, and the head of the Computer Technologies Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ziad Khalaf Farag, and several department professors and graduate students.
