Health Monitoring System Using Imaging of Skin Illuminated by Laser
The thesis submitted by a graduate student (Shamil Khader Ramadan Khalaf) examined the monitoring of human vital signs with recording cases when monitoring the patient through a new and advanced technology in monitoring these indicators that differs from the traditional devices available in health institutions currently.
The thesis aimed at obtaining high-accuracy results and a faster response time, in addition to measuring vital signs, even if there are obstacles, for example, in blood flow or placing the part to be examined in different positions and for different skin colors.
The letter recommended using the proposed system and circulating it to health centers and all medical institutions, noting that the ongoing system received recommendations and messages of support from American universities and hospitals.
Part of the discussion was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafea Mahmoud, and the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Majed Khalil Najm and the scientific assistant professor. Ahmed Jadaan Ali and Dr. Raghad Ghaleb Al-Sultan, the scientific assistant to the Dean of the Technical Institute / Mosul, and a number of faculty members and graduate students.
