and under the supervision of the Dean of the Technical College of Management / Mosul,
Assistant Professor Dr. Raafat Assi Hussein Al-Ubaidi,
The Technical College of Management organized a training course entitled:
“Green Technology as an Approach to Achieving Sustainable Quality in Production and Operations Management”
The course was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Nidal Ali Suleiman from the Department of Information Technology Management, with the participation of a number of faculty members.
The course aimed to introduce the concept of green technology and highlight its role in achieving sustainable quality within production and operations environments by adopting environmentally friendly practices that reduce waste, lower emissions, and improve the efficient use of resources and energy.
The course covered several key topics, including green technologies principles, cleaner production, renewable energy, and environmental performance evaluation, in addition to presenting successful practical experiences that demonstrated tangible improvements in operational performance and organizational competitiveness.
This course forms part of the Sustainable Development Programs for the year 2025, reflecting the College’s commitment to promoting sustainability awareness and supporting modern approaches in production and operations management in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
