The President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, participated in the institutional accreditation symposium for university leaders, which was organized by the Institutional Accreditation Council / Quality Assurance Department / Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Department / Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Yasser Al-Aboodi. Which was titled (The Role of University Leaders in Applying National Standards for Institutional Accreditation) at the Center for Continuing Education at the American University/Baghdad, in the presence of the Deputy Minister for Scientific Research Affairs, Professor Dr. Haider Abd Dahd, Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, Head of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Service at the Ministry of Education, and the university presidents. Governmental and private universities, given the importance of institutional accreditation as it relates to the educational institution and the role of university leaders in implementing it in public and private universities, and based on the necessity of obtaining institutional accreditation and developing implementation plans for it.
