The President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, received in her office in Kirkuk, the President of Selcuk University, Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ilhan Khaftji, and the Administrative Assistant to the President of the University, Prof. Ahmed Togrul Polat, in the presence of the Dean of the Health and Medical Technical College Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yawuz Nooruddeen, where the two parties discussed several issues related to the two universities, which included drawing a map of scientific cooperation between the two universities in the coming days, including the possibility of twinning between the two universities, holding scientific conferences, hosting students, joint supervision of graduate students, and training and developing teaching staff.

At the end of the meeting, the president of the university presented the university shield in appreciation and pride for the visit. On this occasion, the president of Selcuk University also presented the university shield and thanked the university president for the hospitality.
