With the interest and support of our Northern Technical University represented by its President, Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and with the participation of the scientific and cultural activities of its counterparts from Iraqi universities, Dr. Alia participated in the opening of the first scientific exhibition of Anbar University, which was organized by the university on the occasion of the thirty-fourth anniversary of its founding. The exhibition was witnessed by the presence of the Minister of Education, the Minister of Planning, the representative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the President of the University of Baghdad, the Governor of Anbar, Dr. Ali Farhan, and the presidents of Iraqi universities.

The president of the university said:

Despite the circumstances experienced by the Iraqi universities in general, and the University of Anbar in particular, and the destruction inflicted on our educational institutions, the University of Anbar challenged itself and restored the buildings to their previous era to return and flourish again, and its sovereignty commended the great efforts that contributed to the scientific and urban brilliance of the university now. She thanked everyone for organizing the exhibition and for the warm reception.
