As part of her sovereignty’s plans to open up to society through cooperation with international organizations and state departments, and the university’s clear role in supporting development projects in the governorate, the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, received in her office, in the presence of the Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, the Country Director of ACTED (Agency Technical Cooperation and Development) and the accompanying team, and they discussed the format of the memorandum of understanding between the university and the organization and the nature of the projects to be implemented in the service of Nineveh Governorate. It is worth mentioning that ACTED aims to design and implement several projects in Nineveh Governorate, through these projects ACTED intends to create a customized response that provides short-term financial relief and long-term sustainable livelihood opportunities while meeting the needs to provide innovative solutions to agribusiness affected by climate change, conflict and pollution as well as building Economic and environmental resilience of vulnerable communities and women’s empowerment during That programming in Nineveh Governorate.
