The President of the Northern Technical University meets the Executive Director of the Technical and Vocational Education Development Project in Iraq.

In the pursuit of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, to achieve the highest scientific ranks in our university, and within her vision of developing the technical and academic education program in the university’s colleges and institutes, and in line with what is applied globally by the prestigious universities, the President of the Northern Technical University received Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, Mr. Tim Maizen, Executive Director of the Technical and Vocational Education Development Project in Iraq at UNESCO TVET, and in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafea Mahmoud. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments that have been completed and implemented by the university within the framework of the implementation of the special program within the concept of the Bologna Path, which is scheduled to be implemented as a first stage in the Department of Building and Construction Techniques Engineering. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the university from the Quality Board Committee and the Subject Area Board Committee.

It is mentioned that the Bologna track is one of the global systems that are applied by 49 European countries, which depends on the ECTS system in evaluating the student’s effort and the amount of information acquired during the study, which will develop their scientific and practical skills and qualify them as graduates able to work in the private sector in line with The latest developments and global developments.
