Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Thanoon Yonis Thanoon, the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs and the Department of Media and Public Relations at the Presidency of our university, in cooperation with the Central Bank of Iraq, Mosul Branch, organized an awareness seminar entitled Concepts and Basics of Banking Culture Among the youth and businessmen, I dealt with several axes, including the definition of the bank and the difference between it and the bank, types of commercial papers, types of banks and types of bank accounts. The symposium came out with several recommendations related to the bank’s work on the one hand and the employees and people on the other. The symposium was attended by a large number of directors of the departments of the presidency of the university and members of the university and the deans of the assistant deans of the faculties and institutes of the university, Nineveh website.
