In a gesture of support for the scholars of our beloved country in general and our dear Ninawa province in particular, the President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Aliya Abbas Ali Al-Attar, accompanied by the Deputy President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafee Mahmood, and the Dean of the Technical Institute/Al-Door, and the Director of the Student Affairs and Registration Department, and the Director of the Follow-up Department, attended a ceremony sponsored by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Professor Dr. Mozahim Al-Khayyat, to honor the Iraqi scientist from Mosul, Dr. Mo’taz Muafak Salman Al-Jubouri. He was selected as the best young scientist in the world by the International Organization for Neurochemistry and as the Personality of the Year by Wolfson College, University of Oxford. He also received an award and grant from the British Council for Medical Organizations. Congratulations to Dr. Mo’taz on his scientific achievements, and we wish him more scientific excellence.
