The Northern Technical University participated in the training workshop related to the development of Career Development Centers (CDC).

Under the guidance of Professor Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Raafat Mahmoud, Assistant to the President for Scientific Affairs, the university took part in the activities of the training workshop concerning the development of Career Development Centers (CDC). The workshop, which lasted for three days, was held in Baghdad and included directors of the Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department, the Academic Affairs Department, the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division, as well as specialized professors in agricultural technologies and water resources from the university. Representatives from the private sector also participated. This workshop is part of the “Your Prosperity” project, aimed at developing activities and strategies for Career Development Centers (CDC) in technical universities. These centers play a vital role in enhancing the competencies and skills of students and graduates, supporting their entrepreneurial projects in the labor market, and promoting the agricultural and water resources sectors in Iraq.
