Under the guidance and on behalf of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, Assistant to the President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Thanoun Younis Thanoun, Director of the European Union Cooperation Department, Mrs. Barbara Egger, and Mr. Adham Thaer, a representative of UNESCO and the accompanying delegation – in the presence of a number of Directors of departments at the university presidency – and in the meeting, a number of important projects that would work to support the university were discussed by supporting and completing existing projects and developing research projects, in addition to the idea of building cooperation with European universities within the programs adopted by the European Union to support education, youth and programs Vocational training, especially highlighting the efforts made by the university in the field of climate change through studies and projects related to renewable energies and the agricultural reality in Iraq, in addition to discussing the important role that the university plays in implementing the program for the Bologna Process. On the sidelines of the visit, a meeting was held with the owners. Teaching staff and students in the Department of Building and Construction Technologies Engineering / Engineering Technical College, Mosul Through it, a detailed video was shown about the achievement rates and the advanced stages that were implemented within the application of the Bologna track, which the university began to implement at the beginning of the current academic year. These are implemented by the university in various technical fields, which will serve the community and work to develop the scientific reality and research in Iraq.
