Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Shahla Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Qader, Dean of the Technical Institute of Mosul, the Department of Electronic Technologies organized a scientific update entitled (How to enhance antenna properties). The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Khaled Sobhi Ahmed, who addressed the new Modern methods used to develop the work of antennas.

The goal of the novel is to introduce researchers to the modern techniques used in this field in order to benefit from them in their research work.

The newcomer came out with several recommendations, including:

• The necessity for teachers to keep pace with modern technologies published in reputable journals in order to establish scientific activities that lead to an improvement in the method of scientific research.
• The necessity of involving the employees of the ministries of defense and communications in such activities.
