Within international directives and the world’s participation in environmental challenges, and the importance of planting trees as one of the most successful solutions to limit climate change and address it by increasing green spaces within the activities of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research project, and in continuation of the campaign launched by the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. (Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar), Under the supervision of the Dean of the Health and Medical Technical College / Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. (Mohammed Yawuz Noor Al-Din), and in the presence of the administrative and scientific assistants and some of the college’s employees, the college organized a wide agricultural campaign to plant the college with types of productive trees and shrubs.

The first of these was planting grass as green areas on the front end of the college entrance as a first step followed by steps that include garden designs by a specialized team and in order to also improve the status of college gardens and campuses and apply the clean environment slogan.
