Proceeding from the green environment strategy and the goals set by the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Thanoon Yonis Thnoon to achieve the Green University, the President of the Northern Technical University – for the first time at the level of Nineveh Governorate and in the past At the level of Nineveh Governorate universities – opens a large project represented in opening a large group of forests, which were represented in four forests in different places in our university in Nineveh. Her Excellency indicated that the afforestation campaign of the city of Mosul and the role of the Northern Technical University, which took upon itself to contribute in making the city of Mosul more beautiful with the participation of the (Ain Al-Mosul) Foundation with 9000 trees. It is worth noting that the launch of the campaign started at our University.
