The Continuing Education Center at our university concludes the first in-person training course (administrative skills)

Reference to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the implementation of a program for the development and qualification of university leadership and human resources within the ministry’s headquarters and its affiliated institutions. The Continuous Education Center concluded the first in-person training course (Administrative Skills) under the patronage of Professor Dr. Aliya Abbas Ali Al-Atar, the President of Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Omar Rafee Mahmoud, the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, in coordination with the Director of the Continuous Education Center, represented by Associate Professor Dr. Amer Farhan Sheet. The center concluded the first in-person training course (Administrative Skills) on Thursday, May 18, 2023. The course covered organizational structure, job description, delegation of authority, administrative correspondence, meeting management, and feasibility studies. The lectures were delivered by:

Associate Professor Dr. Majid Mohammed Saleh (Dean of the Technical Management Institute – Nineveh).
Mr. Saleh Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Salal, Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department (University Presidency).
At the end of the course, an examination was conducted to assess the knowledge acquired during the course days. This course targeted administrative leaders, including department heads, department managers, section supervisors, and unit managers, with a representation of 20% as per the ministry’s instructions.
