Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Agricultural Technical College, Prof. Dr. Shehab Ahmed Youssef, the Media and Public Relations Division, in cooperation with the Legal Unit, organized a seminar entitled (State Employees Discipline Law).The workshop was also attended by the dean’s assistants.

The lecture was delivered by Mr. Fawzi Salem Hassan/ Legal Adviser.

The seminar aimed at Introducing the State Employees Discipline Law.

The seminar indicated:

Job duties stipulated by the Employees Discipline Act. Which stipulates that the employee performs his job with honesty and that he has a high sense of responsibility and that his job secrets are kept secret and not disclosed for any reason whatsoever, and that breach of these job duties exposes the employee to responsibility and penalty.

The symposium came out with several recommendations:

The public office is based on a subordinate and superior organizational hierarchy. The subordinate employee must obey his superiors and carry out their orders accurately and honestly, and stay away from what would prejudice the job in order to run the public facility and achieve the public interest. The duty of obedience must be within the limits of the law, and to treat his subordinates with kindness and respect. .

A number of teachers and members of the college and the Technical Institute of Mosul participate in the seminar.
