Under the guidance of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajari, the Department of Plant Production Technologies organized a seminar entitled: Methods of storing crops.

The session came out with several recommendations, the most important of which are:
. Take advantage of the season: You can harvest crops in season, which allows you to get the maximum benefits from fresh food. Then you can store it for consumption during other seasons.
. Reducing loss: By storing crops, you can reduce loss and waste resulting from excess food spoilage.
. Maintaining quality: Use appropriate storage methods, such as freezing or canning, to maintain the quality of the crops.
. Support sustainability: By storing local produce, you can support sustainability and reduce the impact of transportation and resource consumption.
