Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, the Agricultural Technical College – Mosul / Department of Desertification Control Techniques organized a seminar entitled (Cultivation and Production of Mushrooms)

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Muhammad Salem Ahmad Al-Allaf

The seminar included:

• A detailed explanation of the nutritional value of white mushrooms.
• Botanical description of mushrooms.

The seminar dealt with:

• How to grow mushrooms
• Explanation of the appropriate medium for the growth of mushrooms
• Environmental conditions required for mushroom cultivation.

Several faculty and staff members participated in the seminar.
