2022-04-03The Agricultural Technical College / Mosul organizes a workshop entitled (Protoplast Integration)
Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University and under the supervision of the Dean of the Agricultural Technical College, the Plant Production Techniques Department organized a workshop entitled (Integrating Protoplast), in which the lecture was delivered by Dr. Haitham Abdel Sattar Saeed.
The workshop aimed to:
- Introduction to a protoplast.
- Protoplast fusion mechanism.
- Hybridization of plants.
- Learn how genetic material is transmitted.
The workshop included:
- How to obtain protoplasts from plant tissues.
- Urging postgraduate students to prepare studies in the direction of plant hybridization and to come up with new hybrid varieties.
The workshop was attended by a number of college professors.
