Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Samir Taha Yassin
The Department of Information and Public Relations and the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the college, in cooperation with the High Commission for Human Rights / Nineveh Branch, organized on Tuesday 8/11/2022 a scientific workshop entitled ((Human Rights and the Role of the Commission in protecting them)).
Contributed to the workshop:

• Dr. Walid Ahmed Suleiman – Dr. Nagham Luqman Muhammad, and the workshop was attended by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Samir Taha Yassin, and several teachers, affiliates, and students of the College.
  The axes of the workshop dealt with the definition of human rights and the role of the High Commission for Human Rights in protecting them, and the mechanisms and means used by the Commission in the field of human rights oversight in Iraq. The workshop also addressed:
  Statement of the overall activity of the Commission in Nineveh during the current year 2022.
  The workshop recommended the following:

1. The importance of the presence of oversight bodies to activate the protection of human rights.
2. Develop and activate the role of the High Commission for Human Rights in the areas of human rights violations.
3. The importance of cooperation between educational institutions and the Commission in the dissemination and dissemination of a culture of human rights.
   On the sidelines of the workshop, Dr. Nagham Luqman Muhammad was honored with a letter of thanks and appreciation by the Dean of the College in appreciation of her role for her efforts in enriching the workshop.
