With direct guidance and follow-up by the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, regarding the participation of the Renewable Energies Research Unit at Al- Hawija Technical Institute in the Science Day Festival held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and with the follow-up of Professor Dr. Omar Khalil Ahmed, Dean of the Institute, the Research Unit participated Renewed energies in large celebration organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Department of Research and Development at “Al-Shaheed Al-Hakim” Hall at the University of Baghdad today, 10/4/2023. Many instructors, researchers, centers, and research units were honored during the celebration, and one of them was Dr. Khaleel Farhan Yassin, Director of the Renewable Energy Research Unit at Al- Hawija Technical Institute.
It is worth noting that the Renewable Energies Research Unit ranked “the first” among the research centers in Iraq in the number of research published internationally, and they were honored by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the respected Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi.
The ceremony was attended by several university presidents and a large number of teaching staff from different universities.
