The President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, officially inaugurated the Psychological Clinic affiliated with the University Psychological Counseling Division.

In a first-of-its-kind initiative across Iraqi universities, the inauguration marks a significant step reflecting the University Presidency’s commitment to supporting mental health and fostering a safe and supportive academic environment for students.

The establishment of the clinic comes  the university’s strategic direction to provide psychological counseling and support services that enhance students’ psychological and social well-being, positively impacting their academic journey and personal development.

The Psychological Clinic aims to offer professional counseling and guidance services through a qualified and specialized team, with the option for students to book appointments in advance via an online link. https://apps.ntu.edu.iq/cpme/psp/⁠�

During the inauguration, the University President emphasized the importance of addressing students’ psychological needs and ensuring the provision of comprehensive support to create an integrated educational environment that contributes to building students’ and developing their capabilities.
