The course lasted for three days from March 17th to 19th, 2024. The lectures were delivered by Dr. Asmaa Abdul Razzaq Al-Singary.
The course emphasized that infertility has become common with increasing cases in society, affecting individuals regardless of their socioeconomic status. It discussed the reasons for infertility in both men and women and methods of treatment.
Recommendations:
It is essential to distinguish between infertility and sterility and to maintain patience and mutual support between spouses during treatment.
Detailed and sequential investigation of the causes of infertility is necessary, and reliance solely on general indicators should be avoided.
Lifestyle changes significantly impact fertility for both spouses, especially factors such as excessive weight and smoking.
Infertility should be treated in its early years, and delays in making necessary decisions can worsen the condition.
Family support is necessary through the activation of infertility centers in the city and financial support for families facing this problem.
Fertility issues may have roots from childhood, so attention should be paid to our children’s health, diagnosis, and treatment of certain problems.
