Northern Technical University Takes Pride in the Participation of “From Baghdad to Cannes” at the Cannes International Film Festival

Northern Technical University expresses its pride and appreciation for the distinguished participation achieved by the Iraq International Biennale of Arts project through the artistic work “From Baghdad to Cannes,” which was selected  the “Immersive Works” competition at the seventy-ninth edition of the Cannes International Film Festival 2026.

This cultural and technological achievement reflects the growing Iraqi presence on the international stage and presents a bright image of contemporary Iraq. It also demonstrates the ability of Iraqi talents to employ modern technologies, particularly virtual reality and artificial intelligence, in producing innovative artistic works that keep pace with global developments in digital art and immersive interactive experiences.
