Proceeding from the spirit of cooperation, scientific, and research participation, and to mix between the depth of civilizational harmony from Assyria and Nineveh on hand, and between the Hanging Gardens and the Lion of Babylon on the other hand, the Northern Technical University represented by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the University of Babylon, represented by Prof. Dr. Qahtan Hadi Hussein Al-Jubouri, signed a joint cooperation agreement, It included a number of materials:

1. Cooperation in the field of exchanging administrative experiences and programs for managing educational institutions.
2. Holding training courses to raise the efficiency of all administrative cadres.
3. Exchange of experiences related to evaluation, auditing, and certificates of quality systems for scientific programs as a whole.
4. Develop research centers and units through joint scientific cooperation.
5. Holding short training courses (for one month) and long training courses (for three months) within the various topics and specializations determined by the two parties.

During the signing of the agreement, the president of the university mentioned that the agreement will enhance ways to improve the level of professional, scientific, and administrative performance between the two universities and at all scientific levels through research fields, and the establishment of training courses, joint workshops, and others. Her Excellency called for expanding the horizons of cooperation between the two sides for the good of our educational institutions. At the end of the meeting, the President of Babylon University presented the university’s shield in appreciationو and appreciation of the efforts made by the President of the University in concluding this agreement. In her turn, the President of the University presented the shield of our university to the President of Babylon University and expressed her thanks and gratitude for the warm reception, wishing all the success for them.
