Northern Technical University participates in Table Tennis Championship for Iraqi Universities..

Under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and under the direction of Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Apparatus, the Student Activities Department organized Table Tennis Championship for students in Iraqi Universities in Najaf Governorate. The technical meeting was held at Alfurat Alawsit Technical University. The students’ championship was held at the Islamic University from 11/23 to 11/29/2024. Under the direction of Northern Technical University President , Prof. Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the direct supervision of University President Assistant of the for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Dr. Thnoon Younis Thnoon, the Northern Technical University team participated in this championship. Our university team was represented by two students from the Technical College of Engineering for Computer and Artificial Intelligence and a student from the Mosul Technical Medical Institute, in addition to Mr. Ahmed Hisham, the team’s coach. The championship was divided into 15 groups, and our university won Group 7, which included Maysan University and Al-Hikma University College and with the start of the championship and the first match for our university team, the first victory was achieved over Al-Hikma College team. The number of participating universities reached 54 public and private universities. Whishing all the best for our university team.
