Northern Technical University organizes the University Guidance Forum….

Under the slogan of psychological and educational counseling, a turning point in Iraqi universities ,the University President, Prof.Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, chaired the university counseling forum with the participation of the deans of colleges and institutes, as well as a large number of university employees and students… The forum included the launch of the NTU electronic mental health clinic program, in which the programmer Muhammad Elias presented the mechanism of its work, as well as the advantages achieved by this program. The organizers of the forum organized a dialogue session with the President of the University, in which she talked about the ministerial directions and recommendation , by paying attention to the psychological and educational aspect of university students and their personal and human development, which will be reflected in their developing their academic performance in addition to the importance of creating a psychologically balanced society by this aspect . In this regard, the university’s guest, Professor Dr. Dhikra Yousef Al-Taie, specialized in educational psychology, spoke about the importance of adult guidance as an integrated human process. In addition to that ,The role of youth in combating negative phenomena was discussed, and an example was presented of the community activist Mr. Hudhayfah Al-Hasso from the Mosul Heritage Foundation, who provided life experience about the volunteer work .At the end of the session, the President of the University honored the distinguished educational advisor in every College and institute, as well as distributing certificates of appreciation to officials of guidance units and to figures who had an effective role in activating training programs and guidance and educational work at our university.
