Under the auspices of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Department of Media and Public Relations, in cooperation with Al-Hadbaa University College, organized an awareness seminar entitled “Drug addiction between medicine and law”. The seminar dealt with several axes:
1- Drugs and their dangers to society
2- Drug addiction and its danger
3 – The effect of drugs on young people and methods of treatment
4- The legal implications of drug abuse and promotion in Iraqi law.
Presentations at the symposium were:
1- Assistant Professor Dr. Walid Badr Al-Rashdi – Department of Law / Al-Hadbaa University College
2- Instructor Facilitator Mohsen Aziz, Head of the Nursing Techniques Department at the Mosul Technical Institute
A large number of employees and students of Northern Technical University participated in the symposium.
