Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Women Empowerment Unit at the Presidency of our university, in cooperation with the Administrative Technical College, organized a workshop entitled “Summer vacation and how to use it to develop youth skills” via Meet platform.

The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Fadwa Ali Hussein

The workshop dealt with:

Summer vacation and how to use it to develop youth skills

• First: The summer vacation is one of the necessary stations at which a person should stand, considering young people have enormous and abundant energies, and it must be spent in a manner that serves to spread awareness of the importance of investing in the summer vacation before it begins.
• Second: Summer work contributes to the development of personality at an early age.
• Third: From a practical point of view, it is considered a supportive step for refining the acquired skills and opening new field horizons for them.

The workshop aimed to introduce advanced technologies as one of the most prominent drivers of the future, in which technology dominated. At this time, our conscious youth need to learn skills that help them adapt to the changing needs of the work environment, hone their skills, keep acquiring new skills, and prepare to learn during their work.
