2022-09-25Northern Technical University organizes a workshop entitled “Magic between reality and imagination and its impact on society in cooperation with Karkh University of Science”
Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Women Empowerment Unit at the Presidency of our University, in cooperation with Karkh University of Science, organized a workshop entitled
“Magic between reality and imagination and its impact on society” was lectured by the trained Dr. Nada Farouk Abboud.
The workshop dealt with magic and its psychological effects on society and the need to raise awareness not to fall into fears resulting from thinking about its negative effects on humans because everything that affects a person in his life is due to the great wisdom of God Almighty
The workshop addressed:
1- The spread of the phenomenon of witches and their being at hand contributes to the events of enmity and hatred among members of society, because hostilities may lose the opponents’ balance and lead them to cheap revenge by going to the witches with the intention of causing harm. 2- The intellectual must fight the myths that spread in his society, even if they are in the name of religion, not to be a reason to spread them.
