Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Central Library Department at the Presidency of the University organized a panel discussion entitled “The New Role of Librarians in the Light of the Digital Environment” and the lecture was delivered in:

In which do you touch on the librarian’s job description and what are his functions? And the new tasks that fall on the shoulders of the librarian in light of information technology and digital libraries, and what are the changes and developments that the library workers have to provide services to the beneficiaries? It also touched on the usefulness of applying information technology, introducing the digital age, and monitoring the procedures and transformation of traditional libraries into digital libraries.
