Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mazhar Abbas Ahmed, Dean of the Institute, the Women Empowerment Committee at the Institute organized an electronic workshop entitled (In the past and between life’s journeys in the present and the future, there are always women’s achievements) and the following took turns:

• Assistant Professor Dr. Maha Latif Jassim, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs
• Assistant Lecturer Reyam Amin Saleh, Teaching Assistant in the Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies

The workshop dealt with some topics related to women’s rights at all times and the extent of the difference between the present and the future and the role of Islam in the fairness of their rights.

Ms. Manal Mahdi Salih, the committee official, indicated that this workshop is part of the activities of the committee, in cooperation with the Women Empowerment Unit at the University Presidency during this period, and was attended by a large number of the institute’s employees as well as members of the university’s formations.
