Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Central Library Department at the Presidency of our university, in cooperation with the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs, organized a course entitled “Official Correspondence in Arabic / How to Write the Official Book”, which lasted for five days, Affiliates in the branch libraries, as well as employees of the administrative and financial departments in the presidency of our university, and a number of employees of the university’s faculties and institutes participated in it. The course lectures were delivered by:

• Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Mawjood Hasan
• Mr. Saleh Ibrahim Al-Salal, Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department.

At the end of the course, the test was conducted among the participants (online and in person), which numbered more than (80) participants. The aim of this course was to learn how to write the official book, to avoid spelling, linguistic and grammatical errors, common punctuation marks, and how to apply the rules of the Arabic language in writing Formal administrative letter.
