Northern Technical University Entitled “Mechanism of Procurement Committees’ Work via the Unified Electronic Platform for Advertisements and Tenders”

The aim of the workshop is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the mechanism for requesting the purchase of materials electronically via the unified platform.
Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Government Contracts Division organized its workshop entitled “Mechanism of Procurement Committees’ Work via the Unified Electronic Platform for Advertisements and Tenders”.
The aim of the workshop is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the mechanism for requesting the purchase of materials electronically via the unified platform.
The importance of the workshop is dealing with reliable suppliers and companies, whether public or private, registered with the Ministry of Planning.
The main axis: All circulars related to the mechanism of purchasing via the platform and the financial ceilings for purchasing were discussed. We explained the last exception of purchasing for emergency and daily cases that do not require entering the platform, but rather the purchase is made directly from the local market, taking into account the important criteria, including that the supplier has a Chamber of Commerce ID, as well as his tax accounting.
At the end of the workshop, the purchasing committees had a comprehensive idea of ​​the new mechanism for purchasing materials via the unified electronic platform for advertisements and tenders.
