SHANGHAI WorldIn the implementation of the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and as a result of the great efforts made by Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and since her assumption of the presidency of the university in the scientific, educational and academic fields, and to achieve the goals of the university, the name of the Northern Technical University has appeared, with the grace of God Almighty within SHANGHAI World University Rankings for the year 2022, in which our university completed the entry requirements among 5 Iraqi universities (the University of Baghdad, University of Babylon, University of Basra and University of Mosul) and ranked second after the University of Baghdad. This ranking is the highest in the world among the international rankings. Congratulations to our university and its leadership represented by the university’s president for this important scientific progress.
