According to the directives of the President of the Northern Technical University and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Muhammad Salih, Dean of the Institute, the Women Empowerment Unit, in cooperation with the liaison member of the Women Empowerment Unit, organized a workshop entitled “Methods of rationalizing electrical energy consumption.” The lecture was delivered by:

– Ms. Sana Saeed Dawood, an associate at the Mosul Technical Institute

– Mrs. Taghreed Mowaffaq Muhammad Amin

It was attended by students and employees of the Institute.

The workshop included:

Focusing on how to consume electrical energy, especially at home, and even the rest of government and service departments, considering that electricity is the basis and engine for the continuity of practical and scientific life, and work to rationalize it in the right ways to serve the public interest, not the private one.

Not to be extravagant and wasteful in consuming electrical energy when operating devices in homes and when operating devices in government departments, and operation should not be except for the utmost necessity, for example reducing and turning off redundant lighting and limiting it to what is necessary.
