Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Saleh, Dean of the Institute, the Department of Tourism Technologies and Hotel Management organized a seminar on “Black Tourism, the Mother of Wars and the Mother of Disasters.” The lecture was delivered in the seminar (Assistant Teacher Nasser Nizar Muhammad) It was attended by a number of the department’s employees.

1- The necessity of investing in these stricken sites in the city of Mosul
2- Introducing from the higher authorities specialized in tourism about these areas, which have tragic characteristic that tells the stories of war.
3- The old city of Mosul should be included in the UNESCO cultural sites.
