Under the patronage and presence of Mrs. President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Atar, and in the presence of Mr. Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Associate Professor Dr. Omar Rafee Mahmoud, and the deans of the College of Engineering Technology in Mosul and the College of Engineering Technology in Kirkuk, as well as the heads of scientific departments, the university organized a workshop titled “Bologna Path and the Experience of Northern Technical University.”
The workshop commenced with an opening speech delivered by Mrs. President, highlighting our university’s experience in this field and the success achieved. It is worth mentioning that our university was the first to implement this path. This was followed by a speech from the Executive Director for Education Development at UNESCO, Mr. Tim Meesen, and then a speech from the international expert in the Bologna field, Mrs. Catherine. Lectures on this topic were presented by the following individuals:
Associate Professor Dr. Fawaz Fadel Ali, Director of the Department of Scientific Affairs, discussed in his lecture a comparison between the Bologna Path guide provided by the ministry and the guide prepared by the university.
Associate Professor Dr. Nabil Makhlef Abdul Razzaq, Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Performance, addressed the quality standards and their implementation in the Bologna Path.
Dr. Zaid Al-Saffar addressed another aspect of the Bologna Path and its application in the university, specifically in the Department of Construction and Building Technologies.
In conclusion, Mrs. President praised the great efforts exerted by all staff members in implementing the Bologna Path.
