Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Shahla Abdel-Wahhab Abdel-Qader, Dean of Technologist Mosul, the Department of Electronic Technologies organized an indicative seminar entitled (Types of e-learning and how to benefit from them: Reality and Challenges)

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Raghad Ghaleb Al-Sultan / teacher

The symposium dealt with introducing e-learning as one of the means that support the educational process and transforms it from the phase of indoctrination to the phase of creativity, interaction, and skill development, and it combines all electronic forms of teaching and learning, where the latest methods are used in the fields of education by adopting computers, storage media, and networks.

The symposium came out with a set of recommendations, including:

  1. Iraq in the experience of e-learning works by international contexts and standards, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has adopted the blended education system, which includes both electronic and attendance systems.
  2. The experience of e-learning in Iraq will remain for many years, which requires those in charge of the two institutions of education to lay the foundations and ingredients to ensure the success of this experiment, thus contributing to the achievement of realistic outcomes for the learning and teaching process.
