The Marketing Management Techniques Department organized a scientific course entitled (Partial Economic Theory)

Present at the session were:

1- Assistant Professor Dr. Sawsan Ibrahim Ragab

2- The teacher, Dr. Essam Salah El-Din Ali

3Assistant teacher Iyad Fadel Mohsem

4- Haifa Malik Ali (Master’s degree / ministerial contract)

The course dealt with:

1- What are the goods and services that the community produces? What are the goods and services that the community must produce according to its available economic resources, which are characterized by relative scarcity, which requires a comparison between alternative uses through market mechanisms.

2- In what way is production: There are multiple production methods such as labor-intensive production methods, capital-intensive production methods, and technology-intensive production methods.

3- How to distribute production among members of society: How to distribute the national product of goods and services among the elements of production participating in the production process, such as workers, landowners, and capital owners. The world has witnessed many economic systems, the most important of which are the Islamic economic system, the capitalist system, the system Socialist economics.

The course indicated:

The science of economics is a great gateway towards understanding the productive possibilities available to everyone and how to distribute and exploit them optimally. It is also an ideal guide towards understanding the oligopolistic market and the definition of supply and demand and the determinants of each of them, in addition to understanding macroeconomic analysis and factors of inflation and unemployment, the concept of monetary policy and fiscal policy as well.

The course aims at:

1. Defining economics as a science, focusing on microeconomics, and then showing the extent of the efficiency with which economic resources are used, that is, whether production is carried out in an efficient manner and is also distributed efficiently.
2. What are the resources? classification, and whether the community’s resources are fully employed.
3. Is the economic energy steadily growing with time, or does it remain constant?

The session reached several results, including:

1. Economics is a global concept, and it is a science of social and administrative sciences that is concerned with the production, distribution and consumption of goods and services, and how individuals, companies, and governments allocate resources to meet their needs.
   1. There are reasons for the emergence of the economic problem and there are scientific mechanisms that are supposed to be relied upon in solving it, in addition to addressing the basic concepts in economics and how the basic principles in it try to organize efforts to achieve the maximum possible production.
