Under the auspices of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the supervision of the Dean of the Technical Institute of Mosul, Assistant Professor Shahla Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Qader, the Department of Power Mechanics Techniques organized a scientific workshop entitled (Tire Corners: Benefits and Damages to Driving a Car)

Aim of the workshop:
- Introducing the participants to the tire angles.
- Explanation of the benefits of adjusting tire angles.
- A statement about the harms of neglecting to adjust the angles of the tires
The workshop made several recommendations, including:
Vehicle drivers should be urged to adhere to adjusting the wheel angles of the car periodically because of its importance in maintaining safety for the driver and road users, as well as because of its economic return as it saves and reduces fuel consumption as well as reduces the consumption of the steering and suspension systems as well as the tires.
